ATTENTION Dear Applicants/Representatives/Travel Agents, With effect from 01 April 2013, the Biometrics at the France Consulate will be scheduled after 2 working days from the date of submission of the application at France VFS Mumbai. This is to bring to your notice that France Mumbai VFS will be closed on 11 April 2013 on the account of Gudhi Padwa. The applications submitted on 10 April will be scheduled for Biometrics at the France Consulate on 12 April 2013. This is to bring to your notice that any group application will be accepted 10 days prior to the Group Day appointment at the France Consulate Mumbai. Also, if 2 or more documents are missing in any single application of the group, that application will NOT be accepted at France Visa Application Centre Mumbai. For all the regular applications, if three or more documents are missing, the application will not be accepted at the France Visa Application Centre Mumbai. All the documents need to be in the same order as mentioned in the Requisite Documents list. This is to bring to your notification that effective 2 January 2013, All long term and short term Visa fees collected on behalf of the French consulsate Pondicherry at France Visa Application Centers in Chennai and Pondicherry will be accepted as cash only. ATTENTION Dear Applicants/Representatives/Travel Agents, This is to bring to your notification that effective 3 December 2012, All Long Term Visa Applications for France under the Jurisdiction of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Kerala are to be submitted at VFS Visa Application Centers in Chennai and Puducherry only. Appointments would continue to be booked online. All long term applicants have to be in person during submission at VFS France Visa Application Centers. All applicants having appointment for long term Visa at the French consulate in Pondicherry till the month of November 2012 will be received by the consulate and Applicants with appointment from the month of December 2012 will be received at VFS France Visa Application Centers at Chennai or Pondicherry Effective Monday, 03 October 2011, the Consulate General of France in Bangalore will commence accepting visa applications through VFS Global services All applicants are requested to note that with effect from 03 October 2011, applicants residing in the states of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh need to apply for visas at the VFS office in Bangalore. The Consulate General of France in Kolkata will start issuing visas from 7th of March 2011. The applications will be submitted in VFS Kolkata only. There will be no direct communication with the consulate. Applicants & travels agents are requested to contact Kolkata VFS only for VISA process.
