This is to bring to your notification that effective 2 January 2013,

All Long Term Visa Applications for France under the Jurisdiction of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh are to be submitted at VFS Visa Application Center in Bangalore

Appointments would continue to be booked online.


The French Consulate in Bangalore will remain closed on the 21 September Friday. The France visa application center in Bangalore will remain open and applications can be submitted according to the appointments taken
Applicants scheduled to attend interview at the French Consulate in Bangalore tomorrow the 21 September Friday have been rescheduled to attend the interview on Monday the 24 September.

Effective 3rd October 2011, Visa Applicants will have to contact the France Visa Application Centre operated by VFS Global Services Pvt. Ltd located at:

To submit their Visa Applications after scheduling an appointment at http://www.vfs-france.co.in. The Visa Applications could either be submitted personally or through an authorised person / agent at the VFS Centre. However, personal appearances by all the applicants are mandatory at the Consulate General of France in Bangalore on the following working day. No Applications would be accepted without prior appointment.

Visa applicants who have already scheduled an online appointment or who have been granted an appointment by the visa section, have to apply in person at the Consulate General of France according to their scheduled appointment.
