Long stay/ Short stay student application: Is applicable in case you are traveling to complete a course for short stay 90days & long stay also.

Application Procedure

As per the new procedure Student Short Stay and Long Stay Applications can be submitted at the France Visa Application Centre after taking a prior appointment. Appointments can be taken online at www.vfs-france.co.in or by telephoning the France Visa Call Centre (phone number: +91 022 67866014). The Internet facility is available 24x7 while the phone-in facility is available 08:00am -05:00 pm Monday-Friday. Visa processing time for Embassy of France, Delhi is minimum 15 working days. (Excluding day of Submission at VFS)
 
Student visa application can be submitted only by the applicant himself.

Please note the visa fee for applicants applying to the France Visa Application Centre in New Delhi is payable by a Bank Draft. The Bank Draft must be payable in New Delhi favoring 'VFS Global Services PVT LTD A/C NO 24105037330'.

There will be a service charge of Rs. 750/- (inclusive of Service tax) levied per application over and above the visa fees. In case you would like your passport couriered to your specified address, you can request of this facility at the time of submitting your application. This optional service is available for an additional fee of Rs 200 (inclusive of Service tax). The service charge and the courier fee is payable in cash at the time of submitting your application.

The new appointment system is aimed at minimising the waiting time while making an application. All applications are to be submitted to France Visa Application Centre at: No 15-26 Block E 2nd Floor, International Trade Tower, Nehru place, New Delhi - 110 019.

Processed passports can be collected after a minimum of fifteen working days (excluding day of submission at VFS) from France Visa Application Centre. between 1300 hours and 1600 hours. Applicants can instantly track the status of their application by logging on to www.vfs-france.co.in
