For Dependants Married to French nationals

You can apply for a short stay or a long stay visa depending upon the purpose of travel. You first have to register your marriage with the Consulate General of France. Upon registration you will be given your livret de famille. You must then take an appointment with VFS France in order to process your application.
The entire application process for dependants married to French nationals is the same as a normal short or long stay application, as the case may be. The only difference being the applicant does not pay a visa fee as he/she is married to a French citizen.

Mandatory Documents:

  2. One application form with all columns filled in and 2 recent photographs in the size of 3.5 cms x 4.5 cms with white / light background.
  3. Covering letter in original is advisable.

  5. Copy of your French Marriage Certificate.
  6. Copy of the French citizen's passport.
