For Non-Professional Travel (family visit, private visit, tourists)
Is applicable in case you are traveling to visit your friends/relatives. this visa is given for travel of less than 90 days.
Visa fee: 60 euros
Mandatory Documents:
- Original passport valid for at least six months + 2 photocopy of passport first page
- One application form with all columns filled in and 2 recent photographs in the size of 3.5 cms x 4.5 cms with white / light background.
- Original covering letter
- Copy of confirmed hotel reservation / *”Attestion d'accueil” in original (sponsorship certificate) accompanied by copy of documents submitted by sponsor at the "Mairie" in France :
- Tax Return ("Avis d'imposition") for previous Fiscal Year
- Salary slips for last 3 months
- Bank statements for last 3 months
- ID Card (French Nationals) or Residence Permit (Foreigners)
- 1 recent invoice (telephone, electricity, etc..)
- Property Deed or Lease Agreement
- Copy of itinerary prepared by the travel agency (only for those going on tour)
- Copy of income tax papers of last three years, last SIX month bank statement, last 3 months salary slips
- Copy of overseas medical insurance policy + repatriation, evacuation cover (equivalent to 30,000 euros)
- Copy of air ticket or PNR (booking printout)
Important!
- Employed applicants to submit a letter from the employer with details of employment and leave.
- Self employed applicants to submit proof of business i.e. firm's registration or partnership deed.
- Unemployed applicants and students can submit their spouse / parents financial papers and a letter of employment or business.
- Students must submit a school certificate / identity card.
- Minors, if traveling with one parent / none of the parents, NOC is required from the other parent / both parents in the form of an affidavit.
- Each application must be supported by a copy of the requisite documents. If you have received a fax you must photocopy the same and attach it to your application.
- You may be asked to produce the original documents at time of submission.
- All photocopies must be in black and white and on A4 size paper.
- The passport must be valid for at least 3 months after the expiry date of the visa.
- No visa will be issued on additional pages.
- Passport must contain at least two consecutive empty pages
- Children must travel on their individual passports
